Alexis Koetting

I am the author of the Bella James Mysteries which follows actress, Bella James who must balance her role as one of the leading ladies of the world renowned Shaw Festival Theatre in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario and her unofficial position as partner to Detective Sergeant Andre Jeffers. Together, they team up to solve some of Niagara's most thrilling mysteries. ENCORE was the first book in the series and was published in 2015 by Five Star Publishing/Cengage and was a finalist for both a 2016 Arthur Ellis and Bony Blithe Award.

As for me, I have been working as a Canadian Actor on stage and screen for over twenty years and hold a BFA, Specialization in Theatre Performance and a Masters Degree in Education. I live in St. John's, Newfoundland with a Bernedoodle puppy named Sebastian. I love scary movies and dirty gin martinis, and have a terrible weakness for potato chips :)
